Proteinase K
Proteinase K is a multifunctional endocytic protease that is widely practiced for digestion proteins in nucleic acid preparations. Proteinase K is a serine protease with protein hydrolase activity that can function in a variety of conditions (pH (4-12.5), high salt buffers, high temperatures of 70°C, ). Proteinase K is use for the extraction of DNA and RNA.
